Binding options

• Spiral binding — lies flat when open, good for reports and working documents
• Book binding with a soft or hard cover for something more permanent
• Booklet production, including menus
• Laminating for menus, signs and documents that get handled a lot

Thesis and report binding

If your university or department has a specification for how the thesis must be bound — cover colour, title page layout, spine wording — bring it with you. Requirements differ between institutions and we would rather follow yours than assume.

Print and bind in one visit if you can. It avoids the situation where a printed copy comes back with a page missing and the whole set has to be unbound again.

Timing

Binding a book typically takes around 20 minutes, so it is not usually a wait-at-the-counter job if you have several. For a large batch, or if you need them by a particular time, call ahead and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.
