Bound books and unusual formats take longer to handle and are quoted at the counter.
How you get the files back
Bring a USB drive and we will copy the files straight onto it, or tell us an email address and we will send them. If you want one combined PDF rather than a folder of separate pages, say so before we start — it is much quicker to scan it that way than to merge afterwards.
Scanning bound books
Books and bound reports can be scanned without taking them apart. It is slower than loose sheets because each page is handled individually, so for a whole book it is worth leaving it with us rather than waiting at the counter.
If the binding is fragile or the book is valuable, mention it when you drop it off so we can handle it accordingly.
What scanning is good for
