Printing from your own design

Send a PDF if you can — it holds the layout and the fonts exactly as you built them. Leave a few millimetres of margin around anything important, because cards are trimmed after printing and a design that runs right to the edge can lose a sliver of text.

If you already have cards you like, bring one in. It is the quickest way to show us the size and finish you want.

If you do not have a design yet

We offer design work as well as printing, so you can arrive with nothing more than your name, what you do and how you want to be contacted. Bring a logo file if you have one — a vector or a large image works far better than a small logo pulled off a website.

What to check before printing 100 of something

• Phone number, dialled exactly as a customer would dial it
• Spelling of your own name and business name
• Which contact methods you actually monitor
• Whether you want one side or both sides printed
